Members' Garden Tour June 2, 2013
After many days of rain, including this morning
ten (count 'em) beautiful gardens.
Thank you to everyone who offered their garden
and to Robin Michetti for some of these pictures.

Guy and Gail Jacquart's garden

The mailman saves a few steps.

Does he notice these
cheerful pots on the front steps?

Purple and white allium in the arms of the spruce.

Detail of the path.
Where did you get the round center stone?

Before we get to the back, these peonies make us pause.

These ones at the corner are almost too red.

Red poppies greet us at the back.
They have a sunny spot in this shady garden.

This fellow is bemused by all the attention paid
to mere flowers; he can handle winter.

A yellow watering can grows among the hostas

We find Guy feeding his fish
worms from his compost.

The heron doesn't seem to bother the fish.

This is aquilegia canadensis.

A perfect maidenhair fern.

Another woodland selection.

A differnt species of watering can

A different kind of inner peace
from that of the character above.

Clematis in the shade.

Can't resist another hosta.
